We are having a blast here in St. Antonin Noble Val, France. Hundreds of people are gathering for the French Cup. Shawn and Brooke took first place in their category. Today we will watch the Pro's in the Qualifier and later in the Finals.
The kids are off to a great summer of outdoor climbing. Day one, Brooke redpointed "Attention fragile" 5.11+/7a on her second try. Shawn worked "Ileou" 5.12c/7b+ and hopes to get it on his next attempt.
Yesterday we went to Capucin and Brooke redpointed "Tapis rouge" 5.12-/7a+. Shawn redpointed "Terreur precataclysmique" 7b/5.12 and then did laps on it!
Didier entered a long bike race in thePyrenees (170km). He came back saying he was done with biking as it was too hard! Luckily, that didn't last too long.
I've been enjoying climbing everyday with the kids doing 5.13's and having a blast!
Summer is here. We are back in France. Last week we were in Arco Italy for the Junior Cup. Shawn and Brooke both took 2nd place. This week we are in France climbing outside and visiting family. Here is a picture of the Arco wall. More photos later.
